Nowadays many people travel around the world, particularly to far off places in different continents because of tourism or for working. Latin America is a region receiving many visitors, and additionally to its attractives, it may entail the risk for acquiring some endemic conditions, the so-called tropical diseases. This course will review some of the prevalent diseases in Peru, with emphasis in their early detection and proper and timely therapy.
